Return & Exchange Policy

At Nisha’s Gems, customer satisfaction is our priority. Every piece of jewellery is carefully handcrafted and quality-checked before dispatch. If, however, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our Return & Exchange Policy carefully before placing an order.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

You may request a return or exchange if:
  • The request is made within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • The product is unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
  • All original packaging, tags, certificates, invoices, and accessories are returned with the product.
  • The product has not been damaged due to misuse or improper handling.
Returns or exchanges requested after the eligible period may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and customization reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
  • Customized or personalized jewellery
  • Made-to-order products
  • Gift cards or promotional items
  • Products damaged after delivery due to misuse
  • Items returned without original packaging or certificates

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive:
  • A damaged product
  • A defective product
  • An incorrect item
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp. Kindly include:
  • Your Order Number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A brief description of the issue
After verification, we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund, as applicable.

Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer support team. Provide:
  • Order Number
  • Name
  • Contact Number
  • Reason for Return or Exchange
Once your request is approved, we will guide you through the return process. Products should be securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Refund Policy

After we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you about the status of your refund. If approved:
  • Refunds for prepaid orders will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be transferred to the customer’s bank account.
  • Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after successful quality inspection.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable, unless:
  • You received a damaged product.
  • You received the wrong item.
  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
If a return is requested for personal preference (such as a change of mind), applicable shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they are shipped. If your order has not been dispatched, a full refund will be issued. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, you may request a return after delivery, subject to this policy.

Natural Gemstone Disclaimer

Our jewellery features natural gemstones and handcrafted designs. As a result:
  • Slight variations in colour, texture, inclusions, size, and shape are natural characteristics of genuine gemstones.
  • Product images are captured professionally to represent the actual product as accurately as possible.
  • Minor differences due to lighting, photography, and screen settings should not be considered defects.
  • These natural variations make every piece unique.

International Orders

For international shipments:
  • Import duties, customs charges, VAT, or local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes paid to destination authorities are non-refundable.

Processing Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 2–5 business days. Customized or made-to-order jewellery may require additional production time. If applicable, we will notify you before dispatch.
